Use during professional skin analysis consultations to assess skin conditions under UV light, as needed.

• Ensure the treatment room is completely dark for accurate results.
• Ask the client to close their eyes during the examination.
• Turn on the Wood's Lamp and allow it to warm up for approximately 60 seconds.
• Hold the lamp 10–30 cm from the client's skin.
• Examine the skin systematically—forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and jawline—noting fluorescence patterns.
• Interpret the results: blue/white indicates normal healthy skin; purple indicates thin, dehydrated skin; yellow/pink indicates oily areas; brown indicates pigmentation.
• Record the findings and use them to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
